PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is one of the biggest games around, it’s the first Battle Royale game to gain such a huge player count and was followed by games like Fortnite, which became ever bigger than PUBG. Now even Triple-A franchises including Call of Duty and Battlefield have their respective battle royale modes and the genre is becoming pretty saturated. While PUBG is only available currently on PC, Xbox One and Mobile, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for PS4 has been rated, details below.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for PS4 Rated
PUBG has been rated for the PS4 in Korea, you can check out the listing here and we are posting a screenshot below just in case it gets removed
So there you have it, it seems the hit battle royale is headed to the PlayStation 4 as well, and we should be expecting an official announcement shortly.
Now, this could be a false rating, but it’s unlikely that the official rating board would just have such a specific title mentioned and to be honest, it’s been quite a while for PUBG to remain only on Xbox One as a console release, maybe we’ll see a Nintendo Switch release as well in the future, similar to how Fortnite is basically on every platform as well.
From the official Steam description
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a battle royale shooter that pits 100 players against each other in a struggle for survival. Gather supplies and outwit your opponents to become the last person standing. PlayerUnknown, aka Brendan Greene, is a pioneer of the battle royale genre and the creator of the battle royale game modes in the ARMA series and H1Z1: King of the Kill. At PUBG Corp., Greene is working with a veteran team of developers to make PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds into the world’s premiere battle royale experience.
If you’re a Nintendo Switch user, make sure to check out the details about the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Special Edition as well.
