Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Common bugs and their workarounds

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is an all-new Fantasy RPG made by Owlcat Games and distributed by META publishing. The game is a sequel to the Pathfinder series, coming just after Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Being a RPG, you can anticipate that the game should take into account all your devil battling needs; including 25 classes and 12 competitions to browse when making your person.

The game has gotten positive reviews; with an 8.8/10 from Fextralife and 9.5/10 from Gamespace. This guide will talk about the different issues that are known to Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and how to get around them. All new games have some problems and this one is no exception to this rule. The good thing is that the developers have taken note of these and provided some workarounds,

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous common bugs and how to deal with them

My mouse would constantly jump positions on the screen (Rewired_DirectInput.dll).

To solve this problem, you can simply delete “Rewired_DirectInput.dll”. This can be found by right-clicking the game in your Steam library. Click Properties and then go to the local files tab and click browse. Over here you will find the dll file in Wrath_Data\Plugins\x86_64 so you will have to delete that.

Keyboard is not working

Follow the same steps as taken in the previous step written above. This fix works for both errors whether from a mouse or a keyboard.

Red defense banner

If you intercept a demon army that is heading for your fort before it lays siege to it, defense banner will start turning red. But if you let the demons lay siege first, and then kill them, you can avoid it. Or fix the banner if it turned red already.

Game freezes on 92% during loading

The developers said that they have taken notes of this issue but there isn’t a workaround to this just yet. Instead, players will have to wait around 2 weeks for a patch to solve this problem.

We are aware of the issues some of you are experiencing with the game crashing at 92%, specifically on computers (most commonly laptops) with an integrated Intel GPU. Thanks to the logs you sent us, we managed to identify the problem, and are working on a fix at the moment. However, the problem is rather complex, and fixing it will take some time. We expect to complete this work in about two weeks.

Can’t find dlc items

First, you need to activate the DLC on Steam. You can do this by selecting Add a new product on Steamand then entering the code for it. Then restart Steam. Check the DLC status on Steam. Right-click on the game icon in the Steam library and then go to Properties. Go to the DLC tab. Select which DLCs you want to activate or deactivate. The DLC items are stored in a chest in a tavern after you first leave the cave.
