Few days back, OPPO released Lollipop update for Find 7 and Find 7a. Find 7 is a flagship killer device just like One Plus One but it didn’t get popular as One Plus One got. Today OPPO quietly displayed a new affordable smartphone with LTE, OPPO Neo 5S.
OPPO Neo 5S comes with Snapdragon 410, a Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Adreno 306 GPU. The phone comes with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. We may see the Lollipop update for this phone, but it is also possible that it will be stuck with KitKat forever.
Phone comes with 8GB internal memory and 1GB of RAM. Memory can be expanded with MicroSD card up to 128 GB. Camera is 8MP autofocus with LED flash which is capable of recording 720p@30fps videos. There is a 2MP front facing camera as well. You can hold volume up+down button to take a picture quickly even when screen is off. This feature will let you take quick shots so that you ever miss a moment. The camera also features Double Exposure, which lets you take 2 different photos and combine them later for fun photography.
Phone’s interior body features double-layer metallic structure for a more compact, thin, and seamless body. the phone comes with 2000 mAh Li-Po battery which is non-removable.
Neo S5 has 4.5 inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels and it supports 3G and LTE networks. As it includes 1800 LTE and 2100 3G band so it will work seamlessly in Pakistan as well. This is to mention that this is a dual sim phone and both sims support 4G LTE. So you don’t need to switch sims anymore if you want to use 4G or 3G.
The phone is available worldwide for around 160 Euros (Which equals about 18,000 Pakistani Rupees).
