An alleged image of the OnePlus 2 has surfaced online with some key details about the device’s appearance. The image itself features a sketch-effect filter and is different from the one spotted in the company’s photography campaign early-on.
OnePlus is certainly going head over heels for the launch of the OnePlus 2 smartphone July 27 through a Virtual Reality event. The presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2 and USB Type-C have already been confirmed by the company.
OnePlus 2 will expectedly feature a metal frame with black matte finish. The OnePlus 2 expectedly have the following features.
- A 5.5 inches (~71.9% screen-to-body ratio) with a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution supporting a ~401 ppi (pixel per inch) pixel density, supporting up to 10 fingers and expectedly rocking a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection
- Android OS, v5.1 (Lollipop), running atop of Qualcomm’s MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 Chipset with a Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57 CPU and an Adreno 430 GPU
- Rumor has it that there is no card slot but it will feature 16 and 64 GB models, both with 3 GB of RAM
- The OnePlus 2 will be featuring a 16 MP, 5412 x 2988 pixels, autofocus, dual-LED flash camera with features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR
- The video will be available at 2160p@30fps, 2160p(DCI)@24fps, 1080p@60fps, 720p@120fps and features like HDR video recording, and stereo sound recording
- The OnePlus 2 will be having a 5 MP secondary camera with video recording at 1080p@30fps
- Colors like Silk White and Sandstone Black are expected to with the OnePlus 2
- The USB of the OnePlus 2 is expected to be microUSB v2.0 and a “Type-C” reversible connector
- The battery is allegedly a non-removable Li-Po 3300 mAh battery
The leaked photo has been treated with a filter so it is difficult to confirm its legitimacy. Till we get any clearer image, we would count this image as one of the many speculations being spewed around.
