Nvidia recently released their Turing architecture based 2000 series GPUs. Much has been said and speculated regarding the performance of the new cards, however, no official benchmark scores have surfaced until now, That’s right, we finally have benchmark scores for the Nvidia RTX 2080 GPU. Nvidia RTX 2080 Benchmarks are very exciting, to say the least so without further wait lets get right into it.
Nvidia RTX 2080 Benchmarks Leaked (Faster than Titan V)
The RTX cards have been delivered to select reviewers along with the newest GeForce 411 Drivers. Word around the internet is that one of the recipients of the new cards has allegedly leaked the 3DMark benchmark score.
As you can see in the screenshot above, the RTX 2080 scores a whopping 10147. The processor that was used alongside the card is an Intel Core i7-8700K and 16 gigs of DDR4 memory. Now the most amazing thing here is that according to this score, the RTX 2080, is even faster than the highly acclaimed Nvidia titan V. The graphics score for the said card is 10659. Moreover, the memory was clocked at reference speeds of 7000 MHz and the chip clocked in at 1875 MHz. What this tells us is that even at stock speeds, this turing GPU is faster than the previous gen Titan V and 1080ti, with overclock this GPU will be an absolute monster, to say the least.
Furthermore, the 3DMark Firestrike graphics score is 27,000 points. Amazingly enough, this stock score is actually higher than a GTX 1080ti even when overclocked.
I think it is safe to say that Nvidia was not bluffing when they told us that the RTX lineup was indeed their most powerful and fastest line of cards ever. The benchmark scores speak for themselves and we can hardly wait for the in-depth reviews.
This is all for now, make sure to keep checking TNM for all the latest news and leaks.
