Mobile World Congress 2014 is in progress. Nokia at MWC has unveiled the products that it will be introducing in a Press Conference held just an hour or two ago. Along with taking the curtains off Nokia X, Nokia also announced two upcoming budget phones i.e. Nokia 220 and Asha 230. Asha 230 is the addition to Asha series. These two budgets phones are the ‘family phones’, available at low price for the customers along with offering the best. These handsets are particularly for those individuals that can’t afford expensive Lumia handsets.
Let’s have a brief look one the details of both handsets shown at MWC 2014,
Nokia 220 Details:
Nokia 220 can be regarded as ‘aspirational’ phone also being ‘super affordable’. The phone comes with 2.4-inch display with 2MP camera. It supports 2G connectivity. 2G connectivity includes GPRS, EDGE etc. Hence you can connect to the web using 2G. Moreover, you can also take advantage of preloaded Twitter and Facebook apps too. The handset comes in two variants i.e. single SIM and Dual SIM.
The single SIM variant of Nokia 220 is priced at 29 Euros.
Nokia Asha 230 Details:
Nokia has also made an addition to Asha series. An up-to-date budget phone is there i.e. Asha 230. The phone has got 2.8-inch QVGA display with 1.3MP camera (even lower than the former one). The phone comes with 4GB internal storage while you can extend the storage up to 32GB via microSD cards.
The phone comes with a price of 45 Euros.
