Unfortunately, due to a powerful earthquake in Japan an hour ago, the Nintendo Direct event has been delayed indefinitely. The gaming community was looking forward to Nintendo Direct September 2018 and so were we but turns out that we must wait now owing to an unseen natural calamity that has reportedly claimed the lives of 8 people and as much as 40 are still missing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims.
The story is still developing and not much is yet known, however, Nintendo America’s twitter account did post the following tweet in the aftermath of the earthquake.

Nintendo Direct September 2018
We recently posted about the upcoming Nintendo Direct that was scheduled to be held today. You can read all about it here. In the turn of events, sadly the scheduled Nintendo Direct event had to be canceled. According to Nintendo, the stream was supposed to run for about 35 minutes meaning that there would have been a lot of stuff to talk about which could possibly include Nintendo Switch online services such as cloud save and other online services. Recently in the previous month, a data miner leaked some images related to Nintendo Switch Online which makes us safe to say that there is a strong chance that Nintendo would have presented content related to Nintendo Switch Online at Nintendo Direct.
This is all for now, we will let you know as a newer schedule is released by Nintendo for Nintendo Direct. leave a comment below if you have any questions or thoughts regarding the incident.
