Google finally announced the long waited Nexus, The Nexus 6. Nexus 6 is made by Motorola and it will be availabel for pre orders on October 29th.
Nexus 6 comes with with an 6 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with QHD ( 1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution. Camera is upgraded to 13 Mega Pixels which can record 2160p@30fps videos as well. Camera features include Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, photo sphere, HDR, dual recording and optical image stabilization. A 2MP front facing camera is also there to take selfies.
It features Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 Chipset with Quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 CPU and Adreno 420 GPU. Nexus 6 is the first Nexus to come with 3 GB of RAM. Internal storage is available in either 32 and 64 GB options.
Nexus 6 is the first phone to run on latest Android, Android 5.0 Lollipop. As mentioned earlier, Pre orders will start on October 29 and it will hit the stores early in November. It will cost you $649 if you want an unlocked version or you can get it on monthly contract from AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint.
Google is also introducing a 9 inch tablet along with Nexus 6. It is called Nexus 9 and it will be available to pre order on October 17th for $399 for 16 GB version and $479 for 32 GB version. There is a thord option with LTE connectivity and 32 GB storage which will cost you $699.
