A well-known data miner, Chrales, has recently found 9 new Pokemon in the Pokemon Go data traffic! The data traffic is the data sent from the server to the internal game network. When Niantic activates Pokemon, they can be found in the Data Traffic.
The new Pokemon found were: Celebi, Deoxys, Smeargle, Nincada, Ninjask, Shedinja, Clamperl, and Huntail.

These Pokemon appear to be from the 2nd and 3rd generation. There aren’t just models of their ordinary version but also their shiny variant. While the appearance and models for the new Pokemon are now on the server, it is difficult to say when they will come out as Niantic has not made any official statements as of yet.
Are these New Pokemon going to be Revealed at Go Fest?
Niantic has already announced that Celebi is coming soon via the games Special Research feature. It is likely that the rest are going to be announced or maybe even released at Go Fest.
Go Fest is set to happen on 14th and 15th July. It is a massive event where players will face challenges and engage in mass scale co-op gameplay.
