It seems that the next Need for Speed game is looking to go back to what made the series great. It seems that the series is also taking on some incremental changes to make the change possible. For starters, This is the year we don’t see EA’s name on the box of a Need for Speed game.
Need for Speed 2019 – Place your bets!

According to the reddit post, the game is slated for a 2019 release date, but there is a serious lack of detail regarding to the setting, gameplay, or other questions that are burning players curiosity.
Unfortunately, the game will not have a show at E3, so you can definitely dismiss a show at the upcoming conference. The years have been very unkind to Need for Speed. We have yet to have a game that matched the absolute beauty that was Need for Speed Most Wanted on the PS2, and almost every Need for Speed game after it has been less than fans expectations.
2017’s Need for Speed Payback was highly criticized for being more like a game you would expect to find on a Smartphone rather than a fleshed out console game. With the team completely off the reins of EA, we can’t wait to see what the team is up to when it comes to making a once great series important again.
What is interesting to note is that the team is committed to a 2019 release date. This means we might not see the game at the upcoming E3, but we can definitely expect to see more on the game by following the game’s official handles and other places.
All I want is a game that is close to the original Most Wanted, and I will be over the moon with joy.
