The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 has had people on their toes waiting for any bit of new info to surface online. The multiple leaks and rumors this past couple of weeks have given us reason to believe that at least one variant of the phone will feature the new Infinity Display. Moreover, dual rear camera for the base S10 has also been confirmed. Today, a short video leak shows Galaxy S10 protective cover that has a hole for the headphone jack hence confirming the Samsung Galaxy S10 Headphone jack to be a possibility.
This recent trend of smartphone manufacturers doing away with the headphone jacks seems to be a deal breaker for many. After Apple took the initiative, we have seen many other brands follow suit such as Huawei, OnePlus, Xiaomi and others.
Samsung still appears to be fighting the good fight and plans to include the much-needed Headphone jack in its upcoming smartphones.

The video was posted on Iceuniverse twitter handle and it shows what is claimed to be a Samsung Galaxy S10 protective cover. This cover bears resemblance to a prior leak that showed an image of the protective cover, however, we couldn’t figure out the different cutouts for I/O ports. That image can be seen below
I personally feel that the headphone jack is a necessity in smartphones if we are to take into account the obvious tradeoff in sound quality when using wireless earphones/headphones. Besides, not everyone wants to have an extra device that they need to charge and carry around. Until such technology is achieved whereby the audio output from a wireless earphone/headphone is identical to a wired one, companies should include a headphone jack. At least that is what I think.
Let me know in the comments if this a good news for you or you are indifferent to phones having a headphone jack or not.
