Hardly three months have been passed to the release of Assassin’s Creed III, but Ubi soft has already planned to release the next New Assassin’s Creed 4 with new hero in a new time period. This is confirmed today by Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot during the company’s third-quarter earnings announcement.The game will have a new set of heroes with all new time period.
“We are delighted and proud to announce today that in financial year ’14, we will introduce an all-new Assassin’s Creed hero, within an all new team and time period, and we expect it to be another major leap forward for the franchise,” said Guillemot. “It is the benefit of multiple teams working on multiple chapters of the product, each getting several years to make their versions of an Assassin’s Creed game.”
Ubisoft’s next fiscal year starts from April 1, 2013 and ends March 31, 2014.Just as in Assassin’s Creed 3 new hero Connor was introduced and storyline was brought colonial America, Late 18th Century. Guillemot promised that “very soon” we will hear about this upcoming release of New Assassin’s Creed 4 and more details. Ubisoft has also revealed it has sold Assassin’s Creed III 12 million copies with increase of 70% in sales.
