So the wait is finally over for hTC 8X users! Microsoft has just bring an update to its Windows Phone 8.1 Developers version. The update ‘8.10.14176’ is downloadable on all Windows Phone 8.1 devices including hTC 8X. Note, hTC 8S has been removed from the list of compatible WP 8.1 devices. However, some hTC 8S users seems getting the update. What about yours?

Build 8.10.14176 starts rolling today to developer preview participants, and provides a bunch of performance improvements and general fixes. One of the important fixes addresses an issue some folks were seeing during the update process – the 80188308 error – which resulted from running out of storage space in the system partition during update. We expect this fix to solve the update issue for most users
The update also seems to have fixed the issue with Lumia Cyan firmware. Also, low storage error 80188308 is fixed. We will keep you updated as we get more regarding the update. So, stay tuned!
