We’ve got a good news for some Samsung Galaxy users as Samsung has officially announced the list of devices which will be getting Android 4.4 KitKat update. The devices which are getting the latest Android firmware are these.

- Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom
- Samsung Galaxy S3
- Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini
- Samsung Galaxy Mega
- Samsung Galaxy Light
- Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
- Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
- Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition
These are 14 devices in total. KitKat upgrade will bring performance upgrade to Galaxy devices, moreover you’ll have an option to choose Hangouts or Messaging as your default messaging app. A location menu has also been added which let users to easily activate GPS, Wi-Fi and mobile networks, while simultaneously checking the battery usage of apps running location service capabilities. And of course other KitKat improvements are also there.
The roll out of the update has started today and it depends on your carrier that when you will receive it. It may take few months to complete the update process.
