League of Legends is a multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows and macOS. It is one of the biggest names in video game history and it’s only growing by the day. Its only real competitor is DOTA 2, and both games have gigantic dominance on the free to play battle area market. Now, after several years of launch League of Legends Mobile is in development.

A mobile version of the game is being developed by both Riot and Tencent, which is another big name in the gaming industry. It was reported today by Reuters that the game has been in development for more than a year, and both Tencent and Riot have declined to comment on it right now.
We’re waiting on an official announcement soon, but according to the source, it’s unlikely that the game will release this year, and will probably be heading to both Android and iOS next year.
Honour of Kings is Tencent’s mobile game and is currently the highest grossing game in China, and it’s been very obvious that Tencent’s main concern is to capitalize on the Chinese population.
League of Legends is insanely popular on PC and made $1.4 billion in revenue last year. It’s honestly surprising that a mobile version hasn’t been released yet, as it would be very popular in China, where players prefer mobile games over desktop ones.
