Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump has revealed today that Boruto Anime will adapt Konoha Shinden novel in the new arc.
Boruto Naruto Next Generations is a manga series written by Ukyō Kodachi and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto. The series is the sequel to the manga series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto. The show also inspired an anime adaptation directed by Hiroyuki Yamashita and produced by Studio Pierrot. The new anime arc will adapt the story from Konoha Shinden novel as revealed by Weekly Shonen Jump.

Synopsis
Following the successful end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Konohagakure has been enjoying a period of peace, prosperity, and extraordinary technological advancement. New Arc Announcement
The announcement for the new arc was announced in this year’s combined 22nd and 23rd issues of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Boruto anime will adapt the Naruto: Konoha Shinden: Yukemuri Ninpōchõ novel starting on May 12.
Novel Details
According to Anime News Network, the novel has three protagonists: Guy, Kakashi, and Mirai (daughter of Asuma and Kurenai) and takes place at a hot spring. The novel “ties together Naruto and Boruto,” and is set between the final chapter of the original Naruto manga and the Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring spinoff manga.
