Kingdom Hearts III DLC Re: MIND Includes Additional Scenarios and Episodes

During the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra Concert Tour, that took place in Tokyo, Tetsuya Nomura confirmed the first line of Kingdom Hearts III DLC. This will be a first for the game, as this will be the first line of DLC released for the game.

First Kingdom Hearts III DLC Revealed

Kingdom Hearts 3 was finally released, after waiting for almost 2 generations of consoles. The game had a great reception from fans and critics, and people initially thought that the game would be done and dusted.

However, It was announced that the game would get post-launch content to keep it active. Which follows the Final Fantasy XV route. Another ambitious project that was long awaited from Square Enix and also managed to get delivered on the current generation consoles.

Kingdom Hearts III Closes the series, which many fans are glad to revel in.

According to Famitsu, they may have gotten a first look at the upcoming DLC for Kingdom Hearts III.

The DLC description is from a translation of the original Japanese source so it would be wise to keep an open mind when it comes to some of the wording.

According to the article. There are going to be multiple branching episodes that will have their own unique bosses, and each will have an episode associated with them.

Nomura didn’t reveal a release window for the DLC, but we should hope with E3 just around the corner, to hope for some positive news on the DLC. E3 might also give us a look at the gameplay of the new DLC and the features of the episode properly.

We do know that there is more DLC in the pipeline, with this set being the first of more to come. Hopefully, the DLC will continue through 2019 and end by early 2020 if they do follow a similar roadmap that the company followed with Final Fantasy XV.
