Killer 7 on Nintendo Switch is upto Capcom, not Suda51

Capcom has recently gotten the love for nostalgia as they are hard at work on releasing the remastered versions of Onimusha and Resident Evil 2. In an interview with Suda51, he stated that fans ask for Killer7 alot and to bring the game on the Nintendo Switch. To this Suda51 replied that Killer7 on Nintendo Switch is in Capcoms hands since they own the rights to the game.

Killer 7 on Nintendo Switch – The Ball Is Only In Capcoms Court

Killer 7 is a 2005 title released for the Nintendo Gamecube and the PlayStation 2. It saw a re-release on PC earlier this year and is currently available on Steam.

You can see that the port is leaps and bounds cleaner and better over the 2005 version and Capcom can tap into a giant market with the Nintendo Switch. The company is banking on Nostalgia a lot recently, so it would make sense for them to port the game to the Nintendo console considering they already have a PC build ready to modify.

While Capcom is busy with games like Onimusha, Devil May Cry V and Resident Evil 2 Remake, we can only hope that they add Killer 7 to Nintendo Switch and maybe other platforms for the game to release to as it would be well received on newer consoles.

For now, we can ignore the prospect of Killer 7 until Nintendo releases their current games in the pipeline and hope to hear about a potential Switch port down the road when Nintendo sees that there is a target market interested in the game and a potential port.
