A few days ago, we found out via a weekly issue of Shonen Jump that Ichigo Kurosaki would be joining the roster of Jump Force, the absolutely chaotic 3D fighting game which has some of the biggest names in all of Shonen Jump. Now Bandai Namco has revealed the inclusion of Sosuke Aizen and Rukia Kuchiki in Jump Force via twitter:
BANKAI! Ichigo, Rukia and Aizen from BLEACH join the cast of JUMP FORCE (X1,PS4,PC) And we introduce the all-new Hong Kong stage! Get ready to #UNITETOFIGHT in 2019! Check out more screens here: https://t.co/kJUhgZdBDm pic.twitter.com/htWLC1Et6R

Now it is unclear whether or not these characters will be playable or not. There have been previous reveals such as Ryuk and Light Yagami from Death Note who have been teased in the trailer of Jump Force but have been confirmed to be not playable by Producer Koji Nakajima.
In an interview with Bahamut. (translated via Siliconera ), Nakajima said:
"Ryuk from Death Note isn't a playable character because if he writes names into the death note, people die, right? He'd be too strong."
He added that they’d play an important role in the games story. Could Aizen and Rukia also have a role in the games story rather than being playable? They don’t seem to run into the same problem as Ryuk and Light. If characters as powerful as Goku can be in the game, then surely Aizen and Rukia aren’t off the table to be playable. And it is not uncommon to see more than one playable character from one property. We have Frieza and Goku from the Dragonball series, Luffy and Zorro from One piece, Naruto and Sasuke from Naruto and Ichigo was confirmed earlier from Bleach. There certainly seems to be space for more playable characters from the Bleach roster.
Keen Fans Sure to be Excited Over New Looks of these Characters in Jump Force
Fans who have been craving for more Bleach ever since the anime ended before the final arc being animated will be especially excited over the looks of Ichigo, Rukia and Aizen in Jump Force. They are in their outfits from the final arc of the series the “Thousand Year Bloodwar Arc”. This arc was never animated and is likely to get long time fans of the series very excited.
Here is yet another tweet from Bandai Namco in which they show Ichigo fighting zorro from One Piece. A dream match-up if we’ve ever seen one!
