Joshi Kausei TV Anime Premiere Date Revealed for Japan

Joshi Kausei is the comedy manga series by Ken Wakai and a month ago the anime adaptation of the series was announced. The show will have its broadcast debut April 8th on Tokyo MX’s Futabanime timeslot.

Studio Seven will be animating the show having Noriyoshi Sasaki as the director of the anime. Noriyoshi has worked as many different roles in a lot of famous anime like Haganai and Naruto Shippuden. He worked most of the time as a key animator, however.

It has been serialized via Futabasha’s digital publication Web Comic Action since 2013 and has been collected in eight tankōbon volumes. It is a “silent” manga with no dialogue which makes it quite unique. The manga is published digitally in North America by Crunchyroll.

“Who needs dialog when you’re this cute? The beautiful (but unlucky) Momoko, the cool, collected Shibumi, and the refreshingly innocent Mayumi star in a “silent manga.” No speeches, no dialog! Just pictures, sound effects, and three high school girls living their daily lives.“

It will be interesting how will the studio produce an adaptation of a manga which literally has no dialogues at all. I’m super excited about Joshi Kausei TV anime what about you guys?
