It is not for the first time we are reading it! Couple of months back, we saw Samsung and hTC considering the same idea i.e. introducing dual boot devices. However the idea did not get much interest as why people will want two Operating Systems on one same device? He can have two devices or he may stick to just one.
But yet it’s not the end to the idea. According to a report, Intel is planning to introduce such devices in market again. Particularly, Intel is going to unveil one such device (dual boot devices) at CES 2014.This is because Intel wants people to buy PC’s as well since their sales are decreasing. But both big Tech Giants i.e. Microsoft and Google have shown no interest in this idea. It seems that they didn’t like the idea as a user do not want two Operating Systems on one device. Moreover, according to Microsoft, it sends a wrong message to developers as well. The developers will, then, be developing apps for Android too if they do for Windows and vice versa. This is because the users will have access to both platforms. Well, we have to wait to see if this idea gets success this time or fails like before!
