If you are looking for an Injustice 2 PS4 Pro Vs Xbox One X 4K HDR Comparison, then you will be glad to know that Digital Foundry has uploaded a video to show just that.
The game was only recently released the PC, and it goes without saying that the game works wonders on a PC, but now that the Xbox One X has shown its power as a “$400 4K PC” can it live up to the standard?
Injustice 2 released earlier this year for the Xbox One and PS4, with patches to support the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X promised to be delivered in a late date. The recent release of the Xbox One X has opened the gates to the exclusive line of Xbox One X Enhanced games, with Injuustice 2 now a member of this prestigious list.
While Shadow of War admittedly stood out for the Xbox One X despite being an earlier build, let’s see how Injustice 2 fares when the two console giants go head to head.
Injustice 2 on the consoles is surprisingly optimized, and even more so when you kick in their relevant superior models into the mix.
You can see the highlights of the video below:
- Both consoles maintain a steady 60 FPS during gameplay, with the FPS capped at 30 for both during cutscenes and super moves
- The games run at 900p on Xbox One, 1080p on the PS4, 1620p (2880×1620) on the Xbox One X and 1440p (2560×1440) on the PS4 Pro.
- Super moves lock each console at 2880×1620 and 30 FPS. No stuttering.
- Slightly improved textures on the Xbox One X because of enhanced filtering and raised number of presets in certain spots, albeit very hidden in the background unless you look VERY closely.
Overall, this is a superbly optimized port with the resolution differences barely noticeable due to the the devil literally hidden in the details in the backgrounds of levels.
