Hunt Showdown is an early access competitive first-person PvP bounty hunting game with heavy PvE elements, from the makers of Crysis. The game makes use of the highly demanding Crytek engine and is currently only available on PC. Now a new boss has been teased in a brand new trailer.
Hunt Showdown New Boss Teased in brand new Trailer
Crytek just released the following video called “Light the Shadow”, and it’s definitely showing a brand new boss, called the “Assassin”.
From the teaser, it seems the boss can move around using bugs and can form at any place. Currently, the game only features two bosses and while those are highly detailed and mechanically unique, it’s high time we finally get a new boss.
The developers have shared their updated roadmap as well, which you can read here. The game is set to come out sometime this year, as the early access period meant to last for 12 months. We expect that after the new updates, Hunt will be in a competent state to be released for PC at least.
Hunt Showdown for Xbox One
The game is also headed to Xbox Preview and a trailer for it was shared
Given Xbox One X’s excellent specifications, it won’t have much trouble running this already demanding game on the console at a reasonable framerate.
While you’re here make sure you read about our various guides on The Division 2 with fixes to improve your experience on both PC and consoles.
The game has the potential to become one of the best co-op and solo survival PvE/PvP games out there, with a very interesting gameplay loop and solid mechanics, we can’t wait for the 1.0 to come out.
