So this is the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 that is going to be showcased next week. The date is September 4 to be precise. It’s on that very day that Huawei will hold a pre-IFA press conference. There have been a lot of teasers and we have a pretty clear idea what the phone and company will be having to present.
In the interim, the much leaked Huawei Ascend Mate 7 has appeared in a photo shoot somewhere in the wild. This is not the first time the phone appeared in a photo shoot, sources tell that there has been a numerous times the phone photographs have been leaked.
The pictures are not of the highest quality, but they are enough to give us yet another solid evidence about the design of the phone. And we have some additional information as well. That is, the phone will have a fingerprint scanner as well. On its back.
The fact about the fingerprint scanner has been more or less acknowledged by Huawei itself though a recent teaser. The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 is expected to feature a 6-inch 1080p touchscreen. Along the display, there will be a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front snapper (awesome selfies).
The processor infrastructure is quite different in this phone. It’s due to be powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 920 chipset, which will come with a CPU having four 1.8 GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four Cortex-A7 battery-friendly cores. Which means that most of the UI and low power demanding tasks will be performed by the A7’s. And speaking about battery, the phone/phablet might just come with a 4000 mAh cell battery.
The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 has also been rumored to pack a 2GB of RAM and a 16GB of built-in storage. Huawei official have even apparently said that the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 is going to be “by far” the best big-screen phone around. But the question is, are you afraid of the high price? You don’t have to worry about that, after all its Huawei, the company well known for low pricing and good specs sheet.
