Hitman 3 is the third entry in the soft-reboot series of the iconic series from IO Interactive. The third title is both published and developed by IO Interactive and is the final part of the trilogy that started back in 2016. Players can play the first two games in Hitman 3 if they own the previous entries. The title is now available as a cross-generation title, and players all over the world can start playing. If you are on PC and want to skip the Hitman 3 launcher, here is how you can do it.
PC players can only purchase the game through the Epic Games Store for now. The exclusivity period will last for a year, and players can transfer their progress from Steam to Epic Store. There have been some slowdowns at the moment with the IOI website, but that should be sorted out once the servers have stabilized. Originally it was announced that players might have to re-purchase Hitman 2, but that decision was reverted.
Skip Hitman 3 launcher
Just like previous Hitman titles, the moment you run the game, you are greeted with a launcher first. This lets you change your graphical settings before running the game, as well as launch a benchmark. This is useful for the first few times, but after a while, it is just an additional menu that you have to go through before getting to the game. To skip this, you can follow the steps below.
- Open the Epic Games Launcher, and then the Settings
- Here, you want to click on “Manage Games”
- Expand Hitman 3 in the list and check “Additional Command Line Arguments”
- Here, in the box, add the following line
-skip_launcher
After that, save the settings, and the next time you launch Hitman 3, you won’t be greeted with the launcher first.
Hitman 3 on Epic Games Store
You can now purchase the game on PC through the Epic Games Store now.
IOI has crafted another excellent title, and have fully realized their dream of releasing a perfect Hitman experience over three titles. They have announced that they are working on a lisenced James Bond title as well, and there isn’t another studio that can handle such an IP as well as IOI.
