Alongside that, the modding community is thriving as well, with news mods coming out almost daily. In this guide, we will explain how you can install the Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord Realistic Weapon Collision Mod.

This mod improves the way weapons collide with various objects, and people in-game during combat.

Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord Realistic Weapon Collision Mod

To install this mod, follow the instructions below

  • Download the mod files from Nexus Mods
  • Extract the files into the following location
/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Mount & Blade II Bannerlord/Modules
  • Now, open Bannerlord 2, and tick RealisticWeaponCollision in the Singleplayer > Mods tab

As you can clearly see, this time the weapon doesn’t slice into the armor, but bounces back as it should. Mods like this only enhance the experience, even if it’s just visual.

It should be noted that this is an entirely visual mod and doesn’t change any values for weapons or armor.
