How to improve Ultrakill Performance on PC (Steam)

ULTRAKILL is a fast-paced ultraviolent retro FPS from New Blood Interactive and Arsi “Hakita” Patala. The game mixes the retro shooting from Quake and the scoring system from Devil May Cry and creates something very unique. If you are running into any Ultrakill performance issues, here is how you can fix those.

The game currently has a Very Positive rating, and is available on PC via Steam as an early access title.

Improve Ultrakill Performance

A few players have reported that they are running into performance issues despite meeting the requirements. If you are one of those, you can follow the steps below.

  • Head into the game’s Options in-game
  • Now, select Graphics, and then Performance Settings
  • Here, disable Environmental Particle Effects

This should improve your performance. The developers are aware of this issue, and given how this is an early access title, there are bound to be some issues.
