Samsung Galaxy S10 Camera Cutout might be a turn off for some considering how the dual selfie camera setup on the S10+ is essentially an offset notch more or less. Even, the single selfie camera on S10 could be a distraction, which is why thanks to Samsung One UI, you can hide the camera cutout with a virtual bezel.
Samsung Galaxy S10 line of smartphones launched just a few days ago and they are currently the most popular Android smartphones in the market. Samsung has set the bar very high with the S10 and I can only imagine what the Note 10 will bring to the table.
However, as was the case with Pixel 3’s hideous notch, people are already complaining about Samsung’s Infinity-O display, especially on the S10+ where the dual front cameras take up a substantial amount of real estate.
This may not bother many and it is a new technology is it will need some getting used to. However, if you were wondering what it would look like to hide the camera cutout on the S10 then here is how to do it.
How To Hide Samsung Galaxy S10 Camera Cutout with A Virtual Bezel
You only need to follow a couple of simple steps:
Step 1– Go to settings of your Galaxy S10.
Step 2- then Display > Full screen apps > Hide front camera.
There you have it and here is how it looks.
The added, rather, thick black bar to hide the cutout is in no way more aesthetically appealing but for what it’s worth the option is at least there. The size of this added virtual bezel does not match the bottom chin which doesn’t help the looks of the phone either.
