Wolfenstein: Youngblood is finally available on PC via Steam and Bethesda Launcher. The game has been published by Bethesda and developed by both MachineGames and Arkane Studios. If you’re running into the Unable to Join or Invite Friend in Wolfenstein: YoungBlood error on PC, here’s how you can fix it.
Since the game allows co-op, it’s crucial that both players can’t connect without any issues. While the game hasn’t received the same amount of praise previous entries did, it’s still a solid shooter and a good co-op experience.
Fix Unable to Join or Invite Friend in Wolfenstein: Youngblood
For this to work you’ll have to change your Steam profile privacy settings. The game doesn’t have any in-game privacy settings despite what the developers have mentioned.
To change your profile privacy settings in Steam, hover over your display name in the top nav and head to your profile. Hit ‘Edit Profile’ in the upper right, and then select ‘My Privacy Settings.’
- Open Steam
- Hover to your current display name in the top navigation bar, and click on ‘Profile’
- Click on ‘Edit Profile’ in the upper right corner,
- Now select ‘My Privacy Settings’
- Change your Profile privacy to either Friends Only or Public
That’s all you need to do to make sure the game easily connects you and your friend.

The game hasn’t received the same amount of praise previous entries of the franchise did, but it’s still worth trying out especially if you want to play with a friend. The deluxe edition of the game grants you a buddy pass, that allows another player to play along with you, without having to buy the game.
