How to fix the Visage Ultrawide issues on PC (Steam)

Visage is an independent survival horror video game from SadSquare Studio. The game is inspired by P.T and is now officially out of early access. The title is available on PC via Steam, Xbox One, and PS4, and the full release is available. If you are on PC and fix the Visage Ultrawide issues, here is how you can do it.

The title has very positive reviews on Steam, and it’s been an excellent year for horror games in general.

Fix the Visage Ultrawide issues

A few users have reported that they can’t seem to get the ultrawide resolution to match the FOV properly. To fix this, follow the steps below.

  • First, launch the game, and make sure you have set the game to 16:9
  • Open Windows Run by either pressing the “Windows + R” keys together or searching for it in the search bar
  • Now, enter the following address, and press OK

  • Open the GameUserSettings.ini file using a text editor like Notepad
  • Here, adjust the values of ResolutionSizeX and ResolutionSizeY to your desired values (Example: ResolutionSizeX=3840 and ResolutionSizeY=1080)
  • Download the Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker
  • Extract it using compression software like Winrar
  • Run UuuClient.exe
  • Click ‘Select’ to select the process to inject the DLL into
  • Launch the game
  • Once the injection succeeds, press ~ in-game to bring up the UE4 console (you can press once to bring up the mini-console and twice to show the full thing).
  • Enter FOV 126.87 for 32:9 to vertically match the default FOV of 16:9. 

If you access the graphics options after this, you might have to re-do these steps.
