Phasmophobia ClientTimeout Error
If you are getting the clienttimeout error while trying to play the game, try the following and see if any of those fixes help.
Fix 1: Verify Game Integrity
- Head into your Steam Library
- Right-click on Phasmophobia and select “Properties”
- Select the “LOCAL FILES” tab and click on the “VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES…”
- Start the game
Fix 2: Swap the game build to Beta
- Head into your Steam Library
- Right-click on Phasmophobia and select “Properties”
- Now, click on the Betas tab
- Click the dropdown and select “beta – unstable build”
Fix 3: Check Internet Connection
Make sure all the cables are working fine, and if you are connected to the proper wireless connection.
