How to Fix Memory Leak in Call of Duty Black Ops 4
A prerequisite for this would be to make sure you have the ‘This PC‘ icon on your desktop. You can do this by right-clicking on your desktop, going to Personalize, selecting Themes and then look for Desktop Icon Settings. You can also just press Windows Key + S and search for the latter phrase to jump there. Once there, tick on Computer and Apply.
Now follow the steps below to find your page file.
- Right click on ‘This PC‘ and open Properties.
- Select Advanced System Properties
- Click Advanced tab
- Under Performance, click Settings
- Under Performance Options, click the Advanced tab
- Here under Virtual memory pane, select Change
- Uncheck Automatically manage paging file size for all drives
- Highlight your system drive
- Select Custom size
- Change the Initial size value and the Maximum size value to a higher value
- For this part, CWykes recommends you use half of your total RAM for the base file size and 1.5 times your RAM for the Max file size. e.g. 8Gb of ram = 4000Mb base and 12000Mb
- Click Set
- Finally, Click Apply/OK until all the windows are gone.
Keep in mind that this is a solution where your mileage might vary, it may or may not fix your issue but it is still a fix.
