F1 2020 is a racing simulation game developed and published by Codemasters. This is the latest entry in the long-running racing game franchise and aims to be the best one yet. The PC version is available on Steam, and as expected, there are a few issues at launch. If you are running into F1 2020 Black Screen issues, here’s how you can fix those.
For the most part, the game is running quite well, and very positive reviews on Steam. However, some people are running into a few issues, that can be easily fixed.
F1 2020 Black Screen Issue
This issue is mostly occurring for NVIDIA users, and the fix has been provided by the developers. If you are running into any black screens during or at the launch of the game, try the fixes below.
Fix 1: Change the Anti-Aliasing Option
- Head into the game’s video settings, and you will find most of the graphical options
- Change your Anti-Aliasing option to anything other than Custom or DLSS. You can use TAA just to be on the safe side.
Fix 2: Change the Direct X Option
There’s another thing you can try if you are still running into this issue.
Some players have reported that if you change the Direct X version from 12 to 11, it also fixes the issues. However, keep in mind that you might lose more here than by just changing the AA setting in fix 1.
