Daemon X Machina is now finally available on PC, and you can get it from Steam. If you want to enable Daemon X Machina Sharpening setting, here’s how.
The title originally came out for the Nintendo Switch.
Enable Daemon X Machina Sharpening
If you want the game to look cleaner and add another layer of filtering, you can follow the steps below and add the sharpening effect.
- Head over to the following location
Users/(Username)/AppData/Local/DXM/Saved/ConfigW/indowsNoEditor
- You can also access this location by typing in AppData in Run, using “Windows +R” key
- Now, open the Engine.ini file
- Add the following lines to adjust the setting, and enable it in-game
[SystemSettings] r.Tonemapper.Sharpen=1
- Save the file and exit
This will enable the sharpening effect in the title.

To run the game on PC, you’ll need the following specifications
Minimum
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 8.1/10
- Processor: Intel i5-3470 / AMD FX-8300
- Memory: 6 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 660 / Radeon HD7870
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 13 GB available space
Recommended
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 8.1/10
- Processor: Intel i7-6700 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 / Radeon RX580
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 13 GB available space
These are fairly manageable requirements, though the i7 recommended CPU is a bit weird. In any case, you’ll need to ensure that you have at least a decent i5 in 2020 if you want to run modern titles.
The GPU requirement isn’t very heavy as the game isn’t graphically intensive, but for higher resolutions and settings, a GTX 1060 or RX 580 is recommended.
