Enable classic controls in Crysis Remastered
Crysis Remastered

Crysis Remastered is a remaster of the iconic first-person shooter game from Crytek. The original title came out back in 2007 and was a technical benchmark for its time. Now, the remaster is shaping up to be one of the most demanding games of 2020. If you want to enable classic controls in Crysis Remastered on PC, here is how you can do it.

The title is available on PC via Epic Games Store, Xbox One, and PS4. It also released on Nintendo Switch a few weeks prior to this launch.

Now, there are few changes the remastered version also brings to the controls, and some fans of the original might want to revert back to the original scheme.

To get the original controls, follow the steps below.

  • Download the file from PCGamingWiki
  • Now, Extract the “Libs” folder into the following location using Winrar or 7zip

\CrysisRemastered\Game\

  • You can also extract the “Scripts” folder from the OPTIONAL folder if you want fists to share the same hotkey (1) as pistols like in the original. (This step is optional)
  • Rebind the “Fire Mode” control and change the control options to either “Classic Nanosuit mode” or rebind “Armor Mode” and “Cloak Mode” to prevent conflicts with leaning
