Maneater allows you to live the ultimate underwater predator fantasy, by being a deadly shark. You can chomp on humans, and other marine life, as you explore a vast aquatic biome. If you are on the PC version and want to disable Maneater Chromatic aberration, here’s how.
Tripwire Interactive’s title is currently only available through the Epic Games Store, and a Steam version is not available yet. The game is also announced for the Nintendo Switch and is coming out in late 2020.\
Disable Maneater Chromatic Aberration
For some reason, a lot of games use a very annoying graphical effect called Chromatic Aberration. It makes the game look overtly bright in some areas, and can blur image quality. Here’s how you can disable it in Maneater.
- Open Run, by either searching in the Windows Search Bar or by pressing “Windows + R” keys
- After the window appears, type in the following, as shown below
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Maneater\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
- Open the Engine.ini file, and add the following lines at the end of it
[SystemSettings] r.SceneColorFringe.Max=0 r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0
After you follow these steps, Chromatic Abberation will be disable in-game.
