Destroy All Humans is an open world action-adventure game developed by Black Forest Games. THQ Nordic published the game for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Google Stadia.It is a remake of the classic Destroy All Humans released in 2005. Destroy All Humans received overwhelmingly positive reviews upon release on Steam. For most parts, it runs without any issues. If you’re unable to find the option to disable Destroy All Humans motion blur on PC, here’s how you can do that.

The game forces motion blur on PC which might cause performance issues on many systems. Disabling motion blur will help in getting a slight performance boost. The workaround to this problem lies in a .ini file tweak. The .ini file is located in the config folder of the game.

  • Locate engine.ini file by heading to the following directory:
    • C:/Users/<username>/Appdata/Local/DH/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor
  • Add r.MotionBlurQuality=0 to the engine.ini file and that will disable motion blur.
  • Save the file and start Destroy All Humans from Steam or your desktop
