How to Change Skins in Mortal Kombat 11
To access a skin in Mortal Kombat 11, you need to assign a character variation to it. Start by going into the Kustomize Menu in the game. Select the character and a skin you want to use. Now select the variation of the character you want it assigned to.
When you have selected your desired variation, open the Kosmetics tab and you can see the assigned skin, fatality, brutality, intro, and victory cinematics for that character. Unlocked skins can be found at the top of your skins list and you can find out how to unlock currently locked skins for your current character and other characters from this menu.
You can also customize gear based on your preferred variation. Keep in mind that there are select pieces of gear that go great with certain skins.
The feature of Skins and Gears comes to us from 2017’s Injustice 2. Where NetherRealm studios allowed players to customize their characters appearances, gears and other facets of their characters greatly. Variations were first introduced in Mortal Kombat X and made a return to Mortal Kombat 11. Players are now able to create and name their own variation.
