This is it, folks, it’s about time, but now, if you’re an EU PlayStation user, you can now change your store region, to make use of the deals of the respective regional stores, and we’re going to tell you how to change PS store region.
How to Change PS Store Region
As the heading states, you’ll need to have a primary EU account to make use of this feature
All you have to do is head over to the Store section through your PS4, not the website, and you’ll see a new menu option called “Store Region”, as we’ve shown below
After this, all you have to do is select the region you want to change your current region, along with the language of your choice, which you can check below
Here is a list of countries that can make use of the feature currently
Austria
Belgium
Bulgaria
Croatia
Cyprus
Czech Republic
Denmark
Finland
France
Germany
Greece
Hungary
Iceland
Ireland
Italy
Luxembourg
Malta
The Netherlands
Norway
Poland
Portugal
Romania
Slovakia
Slovenia
Spain
Sweden
United Kingdom
Also, something very important to understand here is that changing your Store Region does NOT change your Account Region, that will remain the same. Similarly, while you are browsing another region store, the funds in your main region will not carry over, as it does in Steam if you change regions.
Furthermore, the games you buy through region switching must be available in your primary region’s store, or else the order won’t complete.
At the time of writing, this feature is only limited to EU, but we hope that it comes to other regions as well, and US accounts can make use of EU sales as well.
