Amnesia Rebirth is a horror-adventure game from Frictional Games. It is now available on PC via Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store, PS4, and Xbox One. If you are on the PC version and want to adjust the Amnesia Rebirth FPS, here is how you can easily do it.
The game has a mostly positive rating on Steam, and similar to SOMA, has a fairly high critics score on Metacritic.
Adjust Amnesia Rebirth FPS
By default, the maximum FPS you can get in-game is 60 FPS, and that may be a bit low for people using higher refresh rate monitors. You can change the limit by following the steps below.
Open Windows Run by either pressing the Windows + R keys together or by searching for Run in Windows Search
Now, enter the following address, and press OK. As shown below.
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Amnesia Rebirth\Main
- Now, open the <user-id>_user_settings.cfg file using any text editor like Notepad
- Here, set LimitFPS=”true” to false
- Now, set RefreshRate=”60″ to whatever your desired FPS is, like 120 or 144
- Save the file and exit
