The Hong Kong Massacre – An Absolute Beauty
To say the trailer looks absolutely phenomenal would be a gross understatement. The game looks and plays amazingly and is definitely going to scratch the itch for players looking to get back into games like Hotline Miami.
The game made its debut at the Paris Games Week 2017 show during the Sony pre-show, Even though the game was supposed to have a 2018 release date, we are more than happy that the game is finally getting a release date in early 2019. The game has been made by two people with a passion for video games in a small studio based in Sweden, and this is definitely a technical marvel to say the least.

The Hong Kong Massacre is a fast paced top-down shooter set in the city of Hong Kong. Inspired by Hong Kong action movies the game let’s the player engage in hard-boiled gunfights around the city, in levels ranging from restaurants to building rooftops.
Set in Hong Kong around 1992 the game follows a former police detective set out to seek vengeance for his partner, who was brutally killed by the Triad.
The game features slow motion and dive/dodge mechanics to aid the player engage in epic gunfights. Every shot is deadly so there is no room for mistakes.
Each level contains not only enemies to kill but also different challenges for the player to complete that unlocks weapons and equipment.
