Death Stranding is Hideo Kojima’s next title, and despite it being announced years ago, all we have is cryptic information with no actual reveal regarding gameplay or even story. Kojima has now shared a tweet teasing that he’s working on a new death stranding trailer.
New Death Stranding Trailer
Kojima has shared the following tweet showing him clearly editing the next trailer for Death Stranding

There is no caption here, but it’s clear based on the trailer that those are editing software open with a media player, and the game logo on it.
We’re not sure when the trailer will launch, but it could drop on any of the major events, or randomly at any point in the coming weeks or months. Sony won’t be attending E3 this time around so we won’t be getting anything from Death Stranding as well at E3.
There’s still some confusion for some people that Death Stranding may be a timed exclusive, but the marketing and store pages suggest it’s a PS4 exclusive at least.
Kojima has also expressed during his Tribeca talk that he wishes to show a trailer in the coming month or so. With the specifications and details about PS5 shared recently by Sony, this and The Last of Us 2 are looking to be cross-generation titles.
Sony’s announced their version of the Nintendo Direct as well, called the State of Play, and there’s a chance that we might just see the trailer of Death Stranding on it, but for now, all we have is another tease.
We hope to finally see more of the gameplay side of Death Stranding because no matter how many trailers we see, there’s no way we’ll make sense of any of the story from those at least.
