Heavy Rain is an interactive drama and action-adventure game developed by Quantic Dream and published by Sony Computer Entertainment as a PlayStation 3 exclusive. The game was later released for the PlayStation 4 as well and is now headed to PC via Epic Game Store. Now the Heavy Rain System Requirements have been revealed as well.
Heavy Rain System Requirements
The system requirements for Heavy Rain are surprisingly quite high
Minimum Requirements
- OS: Windows 7 64-Bit
- Processor: i5-2400 @ 3.4 GHz or equivalent
- Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 660
- VRAM: 2 GB
- Memory: 4 GB
- Direct X: 11
Recommended Requirements
- OS: Windows 7 64-Bit
- Processor: i7-2700K or equivalent
- Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 1080 or equivalent
- VRAM: 8 GB
- Memory: 12 GB
- Direct X: 11
These are pretty barebones requirements with not a lot of options or details. The difference between the minimum and recommended is quite drastic and it doesn’t make sense why the jump from 4 GB RAM to 12 GB RAM would occur. The same case is with the GPU requirement, from a fairly old GTX 660 to a top end GPU GTX 1080? Either these are totally placeholder requirements or the recommended settings are targetting 4K.
Nonetheless, it’s interesting to see these titles headed to PC via Epic Store, especially considering these are PlayStation exclusives.
Heavy Rain for PC Release Date
