Microsoft recently posted box art for Halo 5: Guardians and it has been construed by some as hinting towards a possible release on the PC platform. Rumors of a possible PC release of the game have been surfacing online ever since the game originally released on the Xbox One system back in 2015. However, this time around we have a good reason to believe that the rumor carries some weight as it was hinted at by none other than Microsoft itself. This was brought to our attention by our friends over at DSOgaming.
Halo 5: Guardians, when one looks it up on Amazon, has a banner that says “Xbox One Console Exclusive”, this is a banner that is typically used when a game is meant for release both on Xbox and Microsoft Windows. However, in contrast, if we look at the older banner for the game it explicitly said, ‘Only for Xbox One”. This gives us a reason to believe that something is not quite evident.
Below is the older and the newer Box Arts for comparison:

To make things interesting, a game known as Quantum Break which came out on both Xbox One and PC had the “Xbox One Console Exclusive” banner originally. Now this to us seems like quite a plausible justification that the same could be true for Halo 5 but we still advise discretion as nothing is absolutely certain as of now.
