Google has always been on the verge of introducing new and innovative ideas to the world. First it introduced the Project Glass that would make you feel like Tony Stark himself! Later, Google unveiled the first 3D Mapping Phone ‘Project Tango’. And now this, Project Ara, that will change the phase of the smartphones exclusively. The total mean of the Project Ara is to build modular phones that would allow you to change the hardware structure of the phone anytime you want. Of so much going on, there are rumors that the modular phone will be releasing in January following year.
Given the current scenario of the industry, there always something you require to change about your phone, batteries specially. Now with this design you would not require a screw driver to change the battery or totally lose the phone if its camera stopped working. With this spectacular idea, one could change anything they want by just swapping the part. Bigger camera or better CPU, it’s all up to you (just like a desktop PC).
At the beginning of the whole concept, the Project Ara was aimed for the lower-end of the market. But with the phenomenal response of the notion, Google will also allow third-party developers to get present and implement their ideas and take the project to next level!
The first modular phone is now set to release in January and that it will be just of $50. The phone primarily is just a skeletal, on which additions and will be made.
