Google has just released a minor update to its Play Store. Back in October, Google Play Store 5.0.31 was released that came with Material Design and other enhancements. The new update is quite similar to the last one. Google Play Store 5.0.38 adds Material Design to more portions of the app.
The update has got some other features as well. It adds wearable/sensors activity data. You will also notice subtle changes in animations while accessing the slide-out drawer menu. Icons have also been a bit modified. ‘What’s New’ section is now highlighted in Green at the top, no matter in which app listing you are. The widgets sections is also gone ‘flat’ in terms of design.
Google Play Store 5.0.38 will be available for users to download in few days. So, what about the users who want to download and get the update today? Well, here we have got manual download links for such users. Make sure to allow installation of apps from third party developers from your device settings.
