With all the tons of iPhone 6 rumors around the place, I think it’s time to change the topic. This time we are talking about the details of what could be the next flagship of Google, reportedly the Nexus 6. Google has always offered best hardware in the most affordable price. Starting from 2012, Nexus 4 was a perfect skeptical of what was the best phone around. In 2014, we saw the rise of the Nexus 5 with its power and vanilla Android.

And now, there is 2014, the year of the Nexus 6. We already discussed the about the Nexus and the rumored budget phone. But those of you who missed it, need not to worry about the details on it.

As mentioned earlier, the Nexus would feature a 64-bit processor. This would be done for the first time in Androids and Nexus 6 would have the fame of doing it so. We also have names of what could be the possible processors be

  • Quad-core MT6732 clocked at 1.5 GHz
  • Octa-core MT6752 SoC running at 2.0 GHz

Apart from that, Google is expectedly to add the support of 64-bit processor in the BIG update that is to be announced on the famous I/O developer conference, which will kick off in June 2014.

Nexus 6 to come with Fingerprint scanner:

Reports also suggest that Google will be working on a fingerprint scanner feature in the Nexus 6. Google has been talking to Asian fingerprint scanner companies for the equipment. If this happens to be true, then Google is certainly talking up a notch. We just expect Google to do it better than previous handsets with fingerprint scanners.

Nexus 6 design resembles that of LG G2 :

Both Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 have closely resembled to the flagships of LG, LG G and LG G2 respectively. The Nexus as expected, would be looking much like the LG G3. But there are also some concept images of the Nexus 6, that you would be interested in taking a look.

Nexus 6 Release Date:

The first half of 2014 is almost over and there is no news as to when will the Nexus come. So we can expect Nexus to come in Q3 or Q4. Although we expect to hear a lot about it in the coming time.
