Android is the most popular mobile operating system available right now. Most of the Android market share consists of low end and budget friendly phones. Like Motorola launched its budget friendly Moto G with a very decent hardware. According to Motorola Moto G is the bestselling smartphone from Motorola ever. Some high end devices like Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC one also help to boost the market share of Android.
According to Chinese mktsj Google may be working on a low budget Nexus smartphone which will cost as low as $100 without contract. As Moto G is a great success so Google is thinking to release low budget phones. Nexus phones are already popular of their true Android OS experience. Most people don’t like heavily customized UI by companies like HTc, Samsung or Sony. People like Google smartphones because of their low price and high end specifications. When Samsung and HTC launched GooglePlay edition of their smartphones most of the people were happy. These GooglePlay edition devices delivers same features as people want but through stock Android OS.
And now a $100 nexus smartphone can really boost the Android market share as people already love these devices. These devices sell like hot cakes as Nexus 10 is still out of stock from PlayStore.
We might see a standard Nexus phone with a price tag of less than $100 and Google might also launch a 10 inch tablet with a budget friendly price tag. These Nexus devices would shake the market and Samsung and HTC will have to see their budget friendly devices.
