Goblin Slayer: Brand New Day the spin-off manga series by Kumo Kagyuu will end its run in May 2019
Goblin Slayer is an anime adaptation of light novel series of the same name by Kumo Kagyuu (story) and Noboru Kannatsuki (art). The original manga started its publication from February 15, 2016, and is currently being published by SB creative. In the following year, the manga adaptation was also announced and is currently being published in Monthly Big Gangan by Square Enix.
Goblin Slayer: Brand New Day Manga To End In Next Month
The announcement was made by Monthly Big Gangan by Square Enix. The announcement revealed that the spin-off manga titled “Goblin Slayer: Brand New Day” based on the original dark fantasy novel series. It was announced that the magazine will publish the final chapter of the manga in the magazine’s next issue on May 25th.
Synopsis
Anime News Network describes the synopsis as,
The series centers on a man who desires to become an “adventurer,” but insists on only killing goblins. The story begins with a female priest who has just joined a party, but quickly gets in trouble. She is saved by the man known as the “Goblin Slayer,” a man who is ranked Gold (third highest) in his local guild in subduing goblins. In the story, he says, “I won’t save the world, I just kill goblins.” After hearing rumors about him, a female elf approaches him with a request.
Anime
An anime series was aired from October 7, 2018, to December 30, 2018, and was quite popular among the anime community. Crunchyroll aired the show in sub while Funimation also streamed the show but in English dub. A new episode dubbed as, Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown will also screen in theaters. The premiere date, however, is not known at the time of writing.
