Gigabyte has been a leading brand when it comes to gaming hardware. We’ve seen Graphics Cards, PC cases, laptops and PC peripherals etc. Another product from Gigabyte that is widely used by gamers is their motherboards. After making their version of H370, B360 and H310 motherboards, their all new series of Gigabyte AORUS X470 has leaked online.
With AMD’s Ryzen 2000 lineup of processors just around the corner, it is important to know what motherboards will be compatible with it. And the flagship model from Gigabyte’s AORUS series, the Gigabyte AORUS X470 lineup will be compatible with the upcoming Pinnacle Ridge AMD CPUs.
With more PCI x16 slots, WiFi AC and more RGB, the X470 series brings new stuff to the table.
We will be getting three boards in the new lineup:
- AORUS X470 Gaming 7 WiFi
- AORUS X470 Gaming 5 WiFi
- AORUS X470 Gaming Ultra
Gigabyte AORUS X470 Specifications and Price:
All three boards in the lineup are featured with an AMD X470 Chipset. Form factor for these boards will be Standard ATX. In addition to that, each board will consist of 3 PCI-E 3.0 x16 slots, 2 PCI-E 3.0 x1 slots and dual M.2 storage slots. We’re also going to see built-in WiFi AC, USB 3.1 and 3.0 ports and a GbE port. As far as the price is concerned, there has not been an official announcement but comparing with the previous boards and competitors, it’s safe to say that the prices will start around $200-$240.
